FAQs

Are your roof trusses treated?
Our trusses are made using southern yellow pine or spruce, pine, and fir. Although it can withstand weathering for several months when exposed to the outdoors, the standard lumber is not pressure-treated or fire-treated. However, special orders are available with pressure-treated or fire-treated lumber.

How far can you clear span a floor truss?
The allowable span of a floor truss largely depends on the depth of the floor truss. The deeper the truss, the longer it can span without support. We can build floor trusses up to 40 feet long. However, we don’t recommend having a clear span over 32 feet.

What’s the longest-span roof truss you can make?
We can make trusses spanning up to 100 feet long, but this size is not always recommended. If you want this length of truss, we’ll need to schedule a site study of the job site to be sure it is accessible for such a large load. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will always do our best to offer trusses that fit both the location and your building needs.

Do you sell retail?
We are a wholesale company, so we do not sell components retail. Please visit our Find a Dealer tab and select a dealer near you. If you would like to become a dealer, please contact us, and we will work with you through the process.

What is needed from a customer before a project can begin?
Once you give the details of your project to your salesman at one of our dealer locations, the salesman will contact us to request a truss quote for the project. Once you are ready to order the package, the salesman will send us a purchase order (P.O.). Upon receiving the P.O., we will send an order confirmation and delivery date to the salesman to relay the information to you.
